The Guinness World Records restored the title of biggest man of the world to the Chinese Bao Xishun after the Ukrainian Leonid Stadnyk refused to be measured according to the new rules.

Bao Xishun, that measures 2.36 meters, was titleholder during one year before Leonid Stadnyk measuring 2.57 meters of height has been declared biggest man of the world in 2006.

Although Bao made itself measured six times in the day, in standing and lying position as the rule of the Guiness requires it, Stadnyk refused to lend itself of it. His precedent record had assigned him thanks to the measures of his own physician.

"We realized that there is such an interest for this category (of biggest man of the world) that it was not possible to make achieve the measure by only one physician", declared Glenday, chief editor of the Book Guinness of the records. "We decided to tighten the rules to make therefore so that there is not any doubt."

Glenday said that the Guinness World Records demand in Stadnyk since 2004 - since the organism heard to speak of it - to measure it while proposing him the free round-trip journey between Ukraine and Britain.
