Gong Li becomes Singaporean

To 43 years, complicates the famous actress Gong Li became Singaporean.

Li gong made itself know in China after having appeared notably in the movies "Red Sorghum," "Raise the Red Lantern" and "Farewell my Concubine", before getting an international renown while appearing in Hollywood movies as "Memorial of a Geisha" "Miami Vice" and "Hannibal Lecter: the origins of the bread"

Li gong that is married in Ooi Hoe Seong, a business man working in the domain of tobacco, raised the anger some Singaporeans in last August when she omitted to present itself to a ceremony of citizenship. These estimated that the actress who was in filming abroad showed a lack of respect in his new place of residence.

However, this Monday November 10, 2008, Gong Li attended a ceremony of citizenship in Singapore and made oath of allegiance with 149 other new citizens.
