The Tibetan monks get ready for the exam yearly Buddhist

The monks of the main monasteries of the autonomous region of Tibet (southwest) met in Lhasa, Tibetan capital, to take the yearly exam permitting to get the title of Geshe Lharampa, the most elevated academic diploma of the Tibetan Buddhism.

A total of 331 monks come from the monasteries of will be, of Ganden and Drepung and the temple of Jokhang participated to a session of revision of 14 days in a monastery situated to 30 km of the downtown of Lhasa, during which they debated interpretations of the Buddhist Sutra and proceeded to simulations of oral tests.
