Discovered of a gigantic turquoise in China

A gigantic turquoise has been discovered in the city of Xiangfan, in the Chinese province of the Hebei.

This precious stone measures close to 100 cm of length, 60 cm of height, and weigh 210 kg.

The turquoise has been bought by Zhang Wenli, a local peasant to a collector of the county of the Zhushan in the province of Hubei.

Qiming Chen, géoloque, polished the gem stone to appreciate his beauty and his value better.

Today, one finds essentially the turquoise in the states of the Southwest of the United States, in Iran, and in the peninsula of Sinai.
