Under front of world ecological crisis, the countries speed up for research and the development of alternative energies. China could become in the next years one of the world leaders of the solar energy. However, in a first time, the country must acquire the technology and the know-how of the western businesses again.

A public group of the center of China takes a dominant place in a gap of future, thanks to a German SME. In Houbu (Shanxi), Lu'an is a middleweight of coal, that he extracts at the rate of 12 millions tons / year. 155th group of the country, it also has a foot in mechanics, the cement, path wood - and well of others. The price of coal that flies off assures him a comfortable reserve of cash:  enough to buy to Centrotherm (Blaubeuren) the necessary integrated chain to master the transformation of its silica in photovoltaic cells. The contract of July 14 could reach 160 millions of euros, for a "big number", of reactors and converters (to get 7 tonnes/jour of solar quality polysilice), and two lines " key in hand" of cells, of a capacity of 30 ans. First deliveries foreseen under twelve months. The market is evidently carrier:  since end 2009, the solar capacity complicates installed will reach 4 millions of Megawatts. But the stake goes farther. Of the 50 present solar Chinese producers, will survive little in ten years, to master all their chain of production. Lu'An will probably be part of the winners, having all cards in hand, raw material, fund and technology. The only question that intrigues, is what energy pushing a groups " baron of province" to pull themselves to its lethargy:  the law, who imposes him the investment maybe, in renewable energies?
