The foreign direct investments in China on the increase of 23.6% in 2008

The foreign direct investments (IDE) of 23,58% increased in China in yearly basis to reach 92,395 billions of dollars in 2008, announced Thursday Yao Jian, spokesman of the Chinese ministry of the Trade.

However, the growth rate for all year 2008 were lower to the one of the first 11 months (26,3%) and to the one of the first 10 months (35%).

According to Yao, the growth of the foreign investments especially concentrated on the sector of the services, that attracted 38.12 billions of dollars of IDE last year, on the increase of 24.23%.

The IDE lowered 5.73% in December in yearly slip to fall to 5.98 billions of dollars, one has learned the ministry. In November, the fall was of 36,5%.

The IDE of December progressed of 12.3% in relation to November. It is about the first monthly increase since July 2008.

China approved the establishment of 2 562 enterprises to foreign funds in December, decreasing of 25.78% in yearly basis.

The last year, the foreign enterprises invested more in the west and the south of China, abandoning the region of the is developed more, declared Yao.

The investments of the abroad Chinese enterprises, including those of the financial sector, increased 63.6% in yearly basis in 2008 to rise to 40.65 billions of dollars, he has added.
