The volume of the exports of toys of China increased a lot weaker at a rhythm during the first 11 months of the year 2008, mainly because of a decrease of the demand of his main markets under the influence of the world economic crisis, one has learned Saturday of the general administration of the Customs.

Of January to November 2008, the sales of Chinese toys abroad reached 8.04 trillion of dollars, an increase of 2.5% in yearly basis. This growth rate is 17.8 percentage points of lower to the same period of the previous year.

In the month of November, the exports of toys totaled 700 million of dollars, either a reduction of 8.6%.

Of January to November, the exports achieved by the manufacturers of toys to foreign funds represented 47.4% of the total, either of 3.81 trillion dollars, an increase of 2.7%. This decreased growth rate of 22.2 percentage points in yearly slip.

In November, there were 4 221 manufacturers of toys possessing a license of export, in fall of 3 829, either a decrease of 47.6% in yearly basis. Most bankruptcies touched societies of small size.

Of January to November, the United States and the European Union were the two more important markets of export of toys produced in China. These two markets represented 67.1% of the total.
