The European Commission will allocate 100 millions of euros to the projects of cooperation with the China

The European Commission will finalize 100 millions of euros of cooperation projects with China this year, declared Thursday Serge Abou, ambassador of the Delegation of the European Commission in China.

"End December 2008, the European Commission approved a big number of cooperation projects with China for a value of 80 millions of euros, and others 20 millions of euros of projects are to approve in January", specified Serge Abou.

According to him, the new projects imply cooperation in the energy, the protection of the environment, the civil aviation, the exchanges of students, etc..

"Among these projects, represent notemment the establishment of an institute for the clean and renewable energy, of a center to encourage the technologies and from a center to Beijing to sustain the investments of the small and middle enterprises", he has added.

"The European union and China are strategic partners and have need of mutual help to face the world recession", indicated Serge Abou."The investment constitutes a part important of our cooperation in struggle against the financial crisis."
