China is considered as the country, outside of the United States, endowed with the environment most favorable to the trade and to the investments, according to an investigation lately achieved by chiefs of big American enterprises and returned public this week in Washington.

The investigation baptized "Winning Strategies in Economic Development Marketing", is driven every three years since 1996, by Development Counsellors International (DCI), an American organization of marketing.

This year, the interrogated people were invited for the first time to establish an ordering concerning the environment favorable to the trade of the 25 most powerful countries of the world in term of GDP, with the exception of the United States.

More of the half of the 281 CEO interrogated considered China as the number one of the ordering whereas India was classified to the 2nd rank with 45.1% of the opinions, consistent by Mexico, Britain and Canada.

The decision-makers of enterprise who placed China at the first place frequently mentioned "its increasing economic and commercial opportunities", "the cost of the manpower", "the general cost and the weak expenses" of operation as the reasons of their good impression on the country.

Considering the intensity without precedent of the commercial battle on a world scale, the good impressions on the commercial ambiance of a country sometimes play a crucial role in case of selection of a site, indicated the president of DCI Andrew T. Levine.
