The Chinese president will meet his American counterpart Barak Obama in London

The Chinese president Hu Jintao will meet for the first time his American counterpart Barack Obama, on the occasion of the summit of the G20 in April, in London, declared Saturday the Chinese foreign minister of the Business, Yang Jiechi.

The meeting between Hu Jintao and Barack Obama will be very important, Yang Jiechi underlined, adding that the two countries were going to do very serious preparations for his holding.

The American State Secretary, Hillary Clinton, currently in visit in China, Mr. Yang invited Saturday to visit the United States in March. At the time of a press conference following their interview, the chief of the Chinese diplomacy told to wish to visit the United States with as main objective the preparation of the meeting between the two presidents in London.

According to Yang Jiechi, the frequent high-level contacts between China and the United States play an indispensable role in the progression of the bilateral relations between the two countries.
