Toyota recalls at least 120 000 vehicles in China for deficient management

Toyota goes Friday to recall 121 930 vehicles in China for a problem capable to cause the loss of control of the vehicle, announced Thursday the general administration of the Control of the Quality, the inspection and about Forty (AGCQIQ).
This implies recall 62 517 Crown, made between 2005 and 2006, 54 657 Reiz, made between 2005 and 2006, and 4 756 Lexus, made between 2004 and 2006, specify the AGCQIQ.
The defect of manufacturing concerns, the EPS system (Electric Power Steering, the electric assisted steering) of all these vehicles. In the worse of the cases, it could drive to the loss of control of the vehicle, add the AGCQIQ that did not specify if some accidents had occurred.
Toyota is going to take contact with the owners of the vehicles concerned to do some controls and to change the pieces free of charge in question.
