The museum of Shanghai, one of the most beautiful museum of China.

Situated in full center from the people’s place to Shanghai, it is one of the most beautiful museum of China. Inaugurated in 1997, it is one of the most modern museums of the country of by its conception, its organization and muséographie. More than 120.000 objects are presented to the visitor.

You will discover to the rez of shod, the room of bronzes, that is all over the world famous. It regroups the most important collection of Chinese bronzes of the world. One discovers gorgeously worked pieces progressively and presented chronologically of the 18th century before JC to the 3rd century after JC.

The 1st floor is dedicated to the gallery of the ceramics and china. More than 500 pieces are gathered here, of the Neolithic in the Qing dynasty.

The second floor is dedicated to the gallery of the calligraphies, the paintings and seals. The amateurs will find some of the most beautiful pieces there of dyes.
