The Chinese army counts academicians and cultivated more settings

The popular army of liberation of China (PLA) declared Sunday that about three quarters of its settings had received an education equivalent to the license or more, either 51% more than in 1995.
"We increased the recruitment of technicians and cultivated civil servants", indicated an anonymous source of the department of general politics of the PLA.
Since the economic and social transformation of China in 1978, the priority task of the PLA evolved. It is not anymore about the preparing to fight but to improve the academic level of its strengths, in particular the settings.
The apl counts 94 members of the Academy of the Sciences of China and the academy of the engineering of China, the two higher institutions Scientic of the country, according to the same source. The number of academicians within the PLA in 1985 was only of three.
A total of 177 centers of postgraduate studies has been put in place, according to the APL. There was only one of it in 1985.
