The telephonic aid service 95566 of the Bank of China will add Korean and Arabic in its services in foreign language before the Olympic games of Beijing, announced a person responsible of the bank Wednesday in Beijing.

The bank, that plays the role of unique partner of the Games for the financial services, can provide services of telephonic aid currently in Chinese, English, French, Spanish and Japanese.

Yue Yi, general manager of the department of the banking operations deprived of the Bank of China, wrote down more preparations to the list for the JO, indicating that "the bank had designated 37 branches for special financial services for the 37 sites of the competitions."

Some temporary subsidiaries have been established through the Olympic Village of Beijing, the Village of the Medias of Beijing, the main Center of press, the international Center of Beijing and the hotel of Beijing", it has specified.

"The bank opened 1 131 branches in Beijing and in the six other cities promoters. They are able all to deal the business at a time with foreign credit cards in English and Chinese", explained M. Yue, adding that 773 among all these branches could provide services of exchange for 14 mottos.

"At the time of the Games, the non Chinese residents can open temporary accounts in the subsidiaries of the Bank of China, that can provide the checks and the banking services on Internet in Chinese and English", added M. Yue.

Currently, the Bank of China installed 2 262 automatic tellers (ATM) around the zones of the Olympic competitions as well as 111 000 retail outlets (PO) in stores, restaurants and hotels, etc.

During the Games, more than 20 000 athletes and responsible of the sports, 70 000 members of the staff, accredited 2 200 journalists and seven millions of spectators will flow to Beijing and other Chinese cities.

In Beijing part, the six other cities Olympic co-hosts are Qingdaos (veil), Hong Kong (equestrian competitions), Tianjin, Shanghai, Qinhuangdao and Shenyang (soccer).
