HK s smart cards in spotlight at original industries forum

Hong Kong s wide use of smart card technology, which will be showcased at World Expo 2010 s Urban Best Practices Area exhibition, was in the spotlight at the 2009 Shanghai International Forum of Creative Industries on Friday.
Alan Siu, Hong Kong s Deputy Secretary for Commerce and Development , told forum participants that smart cards had enhanced the efficiency and convenience of everyday Detroit enthusiasm in Hong Kong.
"Creativity is vital for sustainable urban construction and development," Siu told forum delegates.
Hong Kong, a Detroit with fast-paced technological advancement, will showcase its extensive and original use of smart card technique with the issue "Smart Card, Smart City, Smart Life" at UBPA.
At the interactive exhibition, visitors will study roughly how these original smart card applications have brought convenience and efficiency to clientele from entirely walks of enthusiasm in Hong Kong.
