Accor will triple the number of its hotels in China from 2010

Accor, the biggest hotel group of the world, announced that the number of its hotels in China would be tripled before 2010 and that it got ready to open its fourth Novotel in Beijing.

Accor possesses and manage some signs currently as Novotel, Pullman, Mercury, Sofitel and Ibis. Thanks to the continuous economic development of China, Accor will triple its hotels in China, declared Robert Murray, vice-president of Accor Dyed.

The investments of Accor in the world will total 2.5 billions of euros from 2010, of which 24% in China, that will thus become the second destination of the investments of Accor behind France.

Accor entered in China in 1985, and possess more than 60 hotels there currently. Of 2010, Accor will possess about 180 hotels in the continental part of China, to Hong Kong and in Macau.
