12 people stopped following the fire of a building of the CCTV
The police stopped 12 people, who would have been implied in the fire of a new building of the Central Television of China (CCTV) intervening in February, revealed Wednesday a responsible person from the court to the agency of Press Xinhua (New China).
The municipal public prosecutor’s office of Beijing decided to stop the 12 suspects March 17, declared a person responsible of the Public prosecutor’s office.
They had been put in close watch February 11, but not positively decrees. They are accused of "having caused an accident with dangerous objects." This time, the arrest means that they will be judged, according to the same source.
The 12 people are stopped the ex-director of the office of the construction of the CCTV Xu Wei, three employees of the construction team and eight employees of the Company of the fireworks of Sanxiang of the Hunan, specified the person responsible of the Public prosecutor’s office.
Xu Wei has been incarcerated by the police shortly after the fire. The eight employees of the company of the fireworks fled in the province of the neighboring Hebei, but they have been stopped then in Beijing, according to the police.
The sternest pain for this crime is of seven years of jail.
The fire occurred in the night of February 9 ravaged the Mandarin Oriental hotel, a building of 30 floors nearly finished. He was part of the new seat of the CCTV, situated in the business center (Central Business District – CBD) of Beijing.
