China recorded in 2008 a considerable decrease of the exports of products to strong energizing consumption, thanks to the government's efforts to restrict the trade outside of it in order to preserve the environment.

According to the general administration of the customs, China sold about 103 million tons of products to strong energizing consumption, in 2008, a decrease of 16.2% on one year.

But the value of the exports was on the increase of 31.4%, to reach 89.8 billions of dollars, added the general administration of the customs.

Republic of Korea was the most important destination for the export of products to strong energizing consumption, representing 16.1% of the total, with 16.53 million tons.

The exports of products to strong energizing consumption of China toward the members of the ASEAN, the countries of the European Union and the United States moved back, respectively, of 24.9%, 43.2% and 21.8%, to reach of 13.78 million tons, 12.39 million tons and 8.42 of billions of tons.
