Discontent of China after the commemoration of the "Taiwan Relations Act" by the American Convention
China Wednesday expressed, his deep discontent after the decision taken Tuesday by the American Convention to commemorate the 30th birthday of the "Taiwan Relations Act" that she judges like an interference in his state affairs.
"China is deeply unhappy and solemnly protested against the resolution adopted to commemorate this birthday," declared Qin Gang, spokesman of the Chinese ministry of the Foreign Business.
The "Taiwan Relations Act has been adopted by the Convention in 1979. He allows the United States to deliver in Taiwan defensive weapons. China never recognized this agreement.
The spokesman Qin Gang underlined that, since the origin, the Chinese government and the people trained himself decidedly against this treaty adopted one-sidedly by the United States.
"We urgently recommend to the United States to conform to the fundamental norms that guide the international relations and the three conjoined releases, and not to pursue the negative gait that consists in using the problem of Taiwan to interfere in state affairs of China" pursued the spokesman.
