I would go to a book website. You could try http://www.amazon.com you could also try something like Barnes and Noble or Borders. You could also check with eBay, just be sure to get a recent one.

Frommer’s is really good, plus they also publish books and pocket-guides. On their website, they give you a complete guide of major cities in China, such as Shanghai and Beijing. It gives you information that you actually need when you travel. For starters, it gives you maps, hotels, restaurants, attractions, shopping, and nightlife. For example, in the nightlife section, it lists all of the major destinations. It describes what kind of music it plays and what the atmostphere is like. All these features have descriptions, but no photos. It even offers organized tours if you don’t feel like finding on the attractions by yourself. It has a lot of great inforamation about the place you’re going to.
