For HK, Macau and the rest of China verify out www.gochinasites.com.
For Thailand, everthing is fairly unbeatably cheap. Verify out the kick boxing. It is a need to. And kite flying is a pro-sport in Thailand so attempt that. Thailand is actually far more of a foreigner’s playground other tha something else even though. Most “standard” stuff is developed especially for foreigners and can be cheesey. You can tour the royal palace in Bangkok even though and that is not cheesey.

  1. In Hong Kong try visiting the Big Budha at the Polin Monastery in Lantau. Visit I believe is only till 4pm.
Visit Ocean Park which is very similar to
Seaworld only they speak mostly in Chinese.
10,000 Budha is also a good place to visit… you climb up about 250 steps to get to the temple with 10,000 Budhas.
They also have a night market where you can buy a lot of bargain..( clothes are usually imitations but very close to the orig. ) Bags that are of very good quality …..only not the brands of LV,etc….
Transportation is usually by bus , tram ,ferry or cab.
Culture is very much westernized so you`ll have no problem adjusting.
In Thailand… ususally best buys are gold .
In all of them usually temples are the tourist attraction.

  2. Hong Kong.

  3. Many.
There are so many sites on the Net that a search would give you a better idea than what I could write here.

  4. One at a time….one at a time…gosh, you are asking a lot!
