As hubby and our pal Ven have already been to the Badaling section of the Great Wall, and following the manual books’ assistance to get away from the touristy crowded Badaling location closer to Beijing we made the decision to encounter the Fantastic Wall at Mutianyu. We undoubtedly did not have the site to ourselves…looks like it really is the new favourite for tour buses. It was really crowded. However, it was also extremely foggy, but we had no selection but to go up following a 1-1/two hour drive and no handle on the climate. It was an definitely fantastic experience in spite of the lack of views.
