Gansu Provincial Museum
The Gansu Provincial Museum was built in 1959,encompassing 21 000 square metres,with an exhibition space of 13 000 square metres. The museum is in the shape of Chinese character “山"meaning “mountain".

Fifty kilometers west of the Yongjing County, the Thousand Buddha Caves of Bingling Temple is on the Jishi Hill. Bingling is a transliteration of Tibetan ,which means Ten Thousand Buddha, just the common name of Buddhist caves in China.
Maiji Mountain Grottoes
Located near Tianshui ’ a major city in Eastern Gansu Province, Wheat-Pile Mountain (The Maiji),reputed as the “Oriental Sculpture Museum,“is 142 metres high. The name comes from the fact that the mountain looks like a stack of wheat.
Echoing-sand Mountain,Crescent Lake,and Leiyin Temple
Echoing-sand Mountain is located 6km south of Dunhuang city proper, and this ranges of sand dunes winds on from Mogao Grottoes in the east, to Danghe Reservoir in the west,altogether about 40km long,20km wide, rising up at a relative height of dozens of meters.
