A Chinese agriculturist having very little education constructed 26 robots during the last 30 years. His love and his obvious talent for the technology inspired it has conceive these robots from garbage.

Wu Yulu, 46 years, began to think on the construction of these robots from the moment where he was eleven years old. As watching to pass by the villagers sat on the walks of his house, he came him the idea to construct a machine that would work like a man.

His first robot took him several years to construct and could not raise his legs. With the passing of the time, his realizations became more complex and his creations are now capable to bring up a scale, to serve water, to light some cigarettes, to play instruments of music and even to make the calligraphy.

Wu that lives no far from Peking plunged his family in the debts while spending until two third his monthly income on his creations. He/it has been forced to sell some among them in order to pay for the invoices.

Wu considers all his robots as his sons, and named them according to the order in which they have been created, active of Wu N° 1 in Wu N°26.
